What should I expect after the Cortisone Shot?

Yesterday afternoon, I received my first shot of cortisone for a cystic acne bump that I had on the upper left corner of my top lip. I've had this sort of cystic pimple before, but it's never gotten so big and red. I got worried and ran to my dermatologist, who performed the injection.

After the shot, it did get a little bigger, but this morning I woke and it
 
Give it more time.
Cortisone is naturally produced by your own body, but the injection you received contained synthetic Cortisone.
The injection is supposed to work over a few days, and only treats inflammation.
I'd say give it time.
Btw, not an expert on Cystic bumps

Oh no, thank you for taking the time to respond. Very sweet, and I will give it more time. I guess I've become impatient and unrealistic haha. But thank you very much once again. =)
