what should i do with my tv?

Last night while I was at work I was told the tv screen went yellow, after loosing a game cause of this my boyfriend decided to punch the tv lightly he says now the picture is shattered. Unfortunately the warranty doesnt cover that so should he just buy another one or take it to some repair shop. Oh ya its a 32" LCD samsung
