What should I do with my fish when I'm on vacation?

I just got back from a week long vacation and I had a neighbor come over once to feed my fish (which is supposed to be fed every day!) and now I'm going away for a month and I need to find someone to feed it. I was just wondering whether there were automatic feeding things that I could drop in, or if I had to give it away to someone. My neighbors are on vacation and can't feed it, so I need an automatic/ slow release thing (if they exist!) Any suggestions?
 
Whatever you do, don't get the feeders that you drop into the tank. They don't work.

I'd just get a cheap automatic feeder such as this one: http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/214750/product.web

That way you can just program it, plug it in, and leave.
