Okay so I have AT&T and i want to get an iphone 3gs. the thing is, i am not applicable for the upgrade because i was just added onto my mom's plan in august. however, she IS applicable for the upgrade, so i was wondering if it would be a possibility for her to upgrade to an iphone, and then give me the iphone and keep her old phone, because she hates "complicated" phones. this way, i would be able to get the iphone at an upgrade price. anyway, all im really wondering is if i can go about doing this, and if i do, should i tell at&t that i am doing this. also, would it be wiser to trade phone numbers with my mom or if i should get the iphone under my number and would that change anything about the upgrade? thanks so much for any help
