i have a stock 350 and i need the cost of this rebuild to stay undr 2000 also i need it to produce some big numbers to push some serious mud tires

Takes more than just motor, or horse power to spin big rubber. You want torque not horse power. You also need gears. All the motor in the world won't do shit if you have high gears and open diffs. If you have an automatic transmission I would spend your money on low gears, lockers, and build the trans bullet proof. Then even with a stock or mild built motor you will chew the mud.

definately get some lockers in the diff. after that lower the gear ratio so your top speed is lower, that way you wont need major engine upgrades to push the tires

Well my friend you need to upgrade the Intake, get bigger Carb, installing 1.7 roller rockers will give you more lift on your cam *its complicated on how it works but it will give you more lift*. Change out your cam with a hot cam. Port and polish your heads, You can change the pistons and add more compression, bump it up to about 10.5 or 11
