I have a hatchback car. I recently invested in a new sound system. I have a 4250SD HU, a 6400F amplifier 600W, 16cm pioneer speakers (180W) and two three way 300W (nominal 40W) 16x9 rear. I cannot push the volume more than 10 as the bass distort and it sounds like my rear speakers will blow. I am asking myself if i should
option 1.change the rear speakers to more powerful ones
option 2. use the LPF and HPF on my amplifier to cut the bass from my speakers and invest in
a subwoofer.
