What should i do, Should I buy this a level book?

Should i buy this Advancing Physics AS by jon ogborn that my teacher recommends me to buy for class. but when i look in amazon review about the book, its all only 1star telling that it was not helps at all
 
I've looked at this book and it looks like it might be dated you should try newer books like AQA AS (Collins) which great with a level science and all have 5star reviews, I took biology AS and i found that if you buy text books you can sometimes get confused with what it says in the book and what your taught. Wait and see if you school supplies you with a text book as they should, but if your dead set on a textbook try Collins hope this helps :)
