I found out I was pregnant in August 2010. The pregnancy according to DR was suppose to be a miscarriage. But I never miscarried. Maybe a month after finding out I was pregnant, I begin to have a whole host of medical problems. Several of these problems were prior to being pregnant - migraines, vertigo. Several medical problems that set in during the pregnancy are hypernesis, blood in stool, depression, abdominal cramping, and breathing problems. I turn in my FMLA in September, and in November my supervisor informs me that pregnancy was not a "serious health condition". She need more information on my pregnancy. All the information above was on my FMLA form. She continued to make comments stating that she made it into work while she was pregnant, why can't I. My supervisor wrote me up for the time I was out between September - November. To my surprise, I was never place on FMLA after I turned in my FMLA form in September. I have turned in another FMLA form in December, and now I am out again. My Doctor tell me since I am pregnant there is nothing they can do for my pains, cramps, and breathing problems that it is probably stress related and I should relax. But how can I relax when I need to go into work, and ensure that my supervisor does not drop the ball again!
