so I've liked him since sophomore year but we've never had classes together and I've been scared to talk to him anyways. (we are in junior college now) I was also really overweight then so no guys really talked to me. I've lost a lot of weight and people seem to think I'm pretty good looking now so I think I might have a chance with him so I'm trying to be confident because I realllyyy wanna get to know him. but here's what has been happening on facebook:
I added him and posted on his wall (mind you we've never spoken before) he replied but only once and not again after that. Then he posted a status update saying he was depressed about midterms and I replied saying "yeah me too don't worry if it makes you feel any better I know I'm gonna fail!" he said "awwh haha thanks and I'm sure you're gonna do fine anyways!" and I replied but he didn't. Now the next day (today) I messaged him my number and said "really bored text me
" he hasn't been online today though. He also doesn't really use facebook that much and doesn't seem to get back to people a lot so I don't think it's just me .
So I have 2 questions : 1) am I doing an okay job trying to talk to him? I'm not being annoying am I? I mean if he tells me to back off I will.
2) (please males answer this one) if you think a girl is cute do you usually just jump at the chance to talk to her in person or on fb? does it depend on how cute she is and if it intimidates you or if you are not that confident? I need details because it DOES look like he's looking for a relationship.
