Okay, so when my girlfriend was in town it was too much for me to ask to hang out with her, so she told me to stop. Odd request I thought, but I decided maybe I should back off (even though she was leaving for a trip and it was her last week in town). Anyways, now, we've been talking every night but the past few nights, it looked like she was sort of ignoring me. I asked her about it, and she said it's too overwhelming to talk to me every night. I guess that would be understandable, except I've looked at our relationship and while I may be a bit more attached then I should be, I think she's way more unattached then she should be. So we got in a huge fight, ending with her not wanting to talk to me for who knows how long. Unfortunately, I feel really bad, though I don't think I should. I think I should be the one mad. But hey, maybe I'm wrong. So, the main question here is, what should I do? How do I get her to want me more? How can I get her to basically be a better girlfriend to me, instead of making me feel like shit about 75% of the time. (I know, generally this is what happens to girls, but nope it's to a guy this time.)
Extra Info:
1. I tend to tell her a lot (probably too much actually) how much I care about her, how pretty she is, or just general compliments that I think she would like. I acknowledge it may be a bit much, and I have tried cutting down (successfully in the past 2 weeks actually.)
2. She doesn't know, but I've actually been writing her songs and am learning guitar just to play them for her.
3. I haven't told her, but I have fallen in love with her.
4. My girl bestfriend believes I'm falling too hard for her, and I'm going to get hurt. She says the stuff I do is what every girl (well, generically) dreams of, and that she has no idea why my girlfriend is acting the way she is.
5. I really am accepting of any comments. Not hate talk of course, but please be critical of me if you wish. I don't want to change too much for her, she liked who I was when we were together at the start and I haven't changed much from that, but small changes that won't change who I am, yet will fix problems are comments I am very interested in. As well, I am very interested in any opinions of why she is acting like she is.
If you need any more information, don't hesitate to ask. Nothing too personal, but in general I'll answer. By the way, I'm 17, she's 16. We have not had sex. And it is apparent that I like her more than she likes me.
