what should i do in my situation?

Okay so i have been dating this guy on sunday we were supposed to go out and i txt like "hey were we still going to hang out today " and i got no reply i havnt heard from him since let me remind that one time i sort of ranked out on a date with him but i made up for it soooo is he just trying to get even with me or should i try to text him again later this week or forget about the douche bag lol
