what should i do if someone is going into my favorite sport that is a snob and will

be friends with my friends? i know it sounds weird but theres this girl that used to be my bff and now i completly hate her! i have these really good friends that she doesnt know from my favorite sport(school sport) cross country.. soo now shes going to do it.. no trying out eather. i am so madd! is there any way i can try to get her not on the team?!?
 
i have a similar situation. just ignore her, and try at least to be friendly with her. starting a fight on the first day is just going to cause for an awkward rest of the school year.
