suzuki bandit 1200}? i saw it dripping this morning onto the floor. i drained the air box. there was quite a bit of gas.
i just drained the oil and alot of gas came out after the oil drained
i am letting it air out and will run some new oil through it then fill with more new oil also. will this work?

as long as your float valves are not leaking you will be fine just start her up and turn your petcocck to run.

if your not sure , pull the plugs and turn kill switch on so it cant spark, make sure your outside and hit starter button, it will blow gas out of plug holes so you dont damage anything. Put plugs back in and go, it will be fine.

Flushing it with oil like that will work.
Afterwards, make sure you don't use the Prime position unless you absolutely have to.
Best thing would be to pull and clean the carb.
This will cure the original problem (float valve stuck open) and prevent others.
