There is this guy and he kind of knows I like him. Well, during attendance, I kind of made a sound that conveyed interest after his name was said like, "Ouch!" hahaha. It was a ongoing joke amongst peers saying, "You like Nolan and oh my gosh.." I didn't think it was a deep joke but it just got magnified. It was so middle school. He just kept looking at my reactions for whatever reason. I avoided him.
The thing is that I went up to him afterschool and poked him. He acted really irritated (he has done this as a joke before and said that I back down when he talks loud)...?? but he tells me not to poke him. And then he somewhat listens to me and tones me out. He's been acting weird around me. He doesn't want to sit next to me but he likes to tell me that I love him when I don't. I honestly just like this dude. What's his issue? And what should I say on Monday?

(shifts eyes)...the worst part is that I don't care when he says that. But he runs and pokes me.
