I've got a court date coming up in a few weeks in the Youth Justice Court and I was wondering what I should wear and what's proper etiquette? Crime: i turned a blind eye when my friend took food from the grocery store i worked at.
Do I jut show up at the courthouse 15 minutes early, check in at the registrar, and sit down and wait until they call my name, or do i check in, and walk into the courtroom and take a seat, then go to the front when my name is called?
is there a waiting room for people awaiting trial, or does everybody jut flock into the courtroom?
how should I address the judge and what other proper etiquette techniques should I be aware of? should I just go with the flow and answer the questions. i just want to know the procedure of a court room appearance because im confused right now and i want to be respectful.
this is the youth justice court of canada.
thanks for all your answers!
