What should I do about my weird friend?

My friend Leonard is a great guy, but lately has become a bit taxing. First of all, the sound effects. Everything he does is accompanied by self-generated sound effects. His favorite is the sort of Bruce Lee-like, high falsetto "Waah." This is used to accompany almost any action, like starting the car, or picking up a coffee cup. Another favorite is a "distant explosion" sound, used most frequently to accompany sitting down and standing up. What the meaning of it is, I don't know. Like a ventriloquist, he's mastered the art of making these sounds while hardly moving his mouth, which is really freaky for strangers nearby. Recently he's started using air quotes in a completely irrelevant way. Like the waitress will bring us coffee, and he'll say "Thank you," accompanied by air quotes. And the last noun in a sentence will usually be emphasized by air quotes. I try to be tolerant, because Leonard actually once saved my life. I was packing the car to go on a trip and I locked myself in the trunk. If Leonard didn't happen to come by and hear me screaming, I could have suffocated. What should I do?
