My boyfriend plays video games for hours on end. Last night he played for eight hours. I have always tried to tell him not to play for too long but he does anyways. This has been s strain on our relationship last time we fought I said that he plays too much and he said "You should be happy that he only plays for five to eight hours, I used to play them for much longer." that was before I met him and I am so glad he still isnt like that.
We woke up around 2:30pm and he get on somewhere between 9-11 and stays up till 6 in the morning playing and goes to bed and the whole day starts over. Is it fair that I am giving him more than half of my day?
He only plays video games until he beats them and the game is over. And he hardly gets new games. but the amount he plays them a day is really getting to me. I live with my family so when he is playing his video game I cant go somewhere else and do whatever I want to do or I will wake them up.
Am I overreacting? What should I do?
