My ex-inlaws are wanting to take my kids out of town for a day. 3 years ago these same people helped my ex, their father, to take my kids away. They would not let me talk to or see my kids for a week. They told a judge that I was abusing them. We went to court and the judge ordered their father to give the children back because they had no evidence what so ever to support abuse. My oldest son even told them they were not abused and that he wanted to live with me. They have not seen or heard from their dad since then. Now his family is wanting to take them for a day. Let me add that even after court his family still believed that I abused them. I still to this day am uncomfortable being around them or even talking to them. We were all got along before this happened but what they did is something I cannot forgive. Should I let them take them? I have full custody. Their dad refused joint custody. What should I do?
Last response was let the child go! So they can interrogate them?
This grandmother is the step-grandmother and she has not seen or talked to them in 3 years and we live in the same town.
