What should I create for my art sculpture?

I've got to produce a 3D piece based on human form. My theme is of age and emotion, how facial definition changes throughout life, but I'm stuck for ideas.

I've considered creating a human head sculpture of two different ages, spilt down the middle.
What are people's thoughts? Any ideas to help me?
