What should I color the butt and barrel of this gun? I'm getting it tattooed...

Now I'm just stuck in an absolute rut as to what I should color the butt and barrel.
I was thinking gold, but if i did it on both the barrel and butt it would be overkill, no?

I also wanted a medium-light blue glow around the tattoo. What do you think?
 
I think the gold and the blue would be an awesome match!
Ask your tattoo artist for his opinion.

I would say do the gold but with some shading and it will like amazing!
