What should i bring to college for my dorm room?

You really have to coordinate with your roommate.
my freshmen year my roommate and i shared a fridge and tv both of which he brought. I brought the video game system. Also bring appropriate clothing. I happen to go to a cold school, so long sleeves, sweatshirts and pants are a must. Along with a couple winter jackets. Bring some board games too. On really boring days when we didn't feel like going out its actually fun to just sit around and play a board game. Defintely bring plastic bins for storing stuff. A mini-vac or hand vac is good for cleaning. Paper towels and toilet paper. some cleaning supplies like wipes.

Microwaves are a no-no usually.

Try and talk with your roommate before you arrive, in order to plan big items. The problem is sometimes roommates are less than friendly and you would rather have your own items anyway. The choice is yours.

This list is completely dependent on what is already in your dorm room, what type of space is available, and what your interested in.
