I need a basic overview of things I need to pack in and on my hiking pack for a 3 day trip in the Adirondacks. I think I've got my basics, but could use any info anyone has out there.

Thanks,
Bish

Lots of water (no kidding), shoes, flashlights?, food (cant live without it), spare clothes (have like three sets ready), tent i guess since you're also camping, medical stuff to take care of blisters and all. I would suggest using athletic tape. I used to be in gymnastics and that and chalk really helped and work. sunscreen, and that bug spray thing, watch (if it's an analog you can use it as a compass also using the sun). Brushes, toothpaste?

I'm probably missing a lot more but this is all i can think of for now.
Have fun.
