What shades can I use to bring out my eyes more?

I have hazel eyes, but sometimes I just feel like I can't really bring out my eyes that much. I usually use black eyeliner and mascara, and do a lighter shade of gold on the eyelid, followed by a darker shade of brown on my crease.

I feel like light blue really doesn't look that good on me.

I usually don't do this, but here's a recent picture of me. Hopefully you can give me suggestions based on that:
