what settings should i set my Panasonic lumix dmc-tz8 to get the best picture quality?

I have the Panasonic Lumix, black and silver camera 10x optical zoom, 8mm wide (im just reading whats on the camera, lol I don't know to much about them)
SO, im wondering what settings I should put everything on?
the settings I have it on now everything's to bright, makes me look greasy lol. I want the pictures to look professional if that makes sense
I'll be uploading to the web mainly
