my dad has has a 69 sportster that was given to him along time ago. the only thing original on it is the frame and engine, everything else has been pretty much replaced over the years. he has given it to me an i seem to have taken more interest in it then he had. so my question is how can i tell which series of 69 sportster it is. is the anything i can look for or a way i can tell.because there is more than 1 series for that year? oh yeah and one more question the bike runs great except that it has a MISS, when driving it it makes the usual bad ass rumbling sound but every so often it misses a rumble and sounds like it wants to cut off but it doesn't it just keeps going, does anyone know what is causing the miss or doing this, and how could it be fixed
