regarding the appearance of the genitals? my college teacher for human sexuality asked us this question, but forgot to explain. we are suppose to write about this and there is also another part to it but I don't really understand it. so if anyone can help thanks

here is the whole question:
What role, in any does the media play in shaping women's self image regarding the appearance of the genitals? Be sure to discuss the relatively new cultural phenomenon of shaving ones pubic region and/or genital piercings.
