What religion do you pick in Civilization IV?

I'm curious as to what religion you usually pick when you are playing a game of Civilization IV. I normally pick Buddhism as it seems to be the one that most other civilizations use (earliest discovered).

Unless I am playing a religious conquering play through where I convert other civilizations at the sword. Then I usually pick Christianity. Be a little historical accurate, you know.

Never played it. Just the first one. Where I'm too busy being a monarchy (best resource gathering of the game, in my opinion) and being the most advanced in the world. Only reason why the other bastards get to Alpha Centauri before I do is because they have more cities to build ship components than I do....frickin' bastards.
