I've got about 120 or more credit hours under my belt from college in various medical professions, and one certificate. (changed my major a lot when my college kept dropping majors). I know that your rank will increase based on your education, and I was wondering what all these credits might help with. Switching from the medical field to military I think will be great. I liked helping people and saving lived, but at the same time, I think serving my country as a whole is far better than helping a doctor that barely speaks English line his pockets.
