Hey bud, it really depends on your definition of "racing bike", on how far and how fast you are planning to ride! There really are a lot of different types. What you are looking at is an entry level road bike, it has all your basic needs and quite a few unnecessary accessories. But overall it looks decent, the geometry is rather odd. It is going to position you really low on the front end, some people like it others dont. On mine, thats pretty close to the way i have myself positioned now. Its all in personal taste. One word of advice though, check out ebay or craigslist or something like that to find a vintage steel racing bike, if you like the feel of racing you can upgrade, if you dont you would have just saved yourself some money!
