A child that is aged 5-7 that would get them to talk for a bit. Meaning to have some words that is 5 - 8 words maybe a bit more. Because my tutor is coming to visit me and i will need to have a conversation with a child (1-1) and a group conversation (2-3) and i am really nervous and i can not actually think of any questions to ask children this age (5-7) and i don't really want the conversation to be related to high school musical, madagascar and that.

So what questions would you advise me to use and how would you say them to a child aged 5 - 7 without making it complicated for them.

P.S. i would like you to have a few questions down that you would use rather than just picking one!

Whats your favourite colour?
Do you like school?
Whats your best friends name?
Do you have a favourite subject?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Whats your favourite season?
Whens your birthday?
How old are you?

I'm pretty sure you could build off of that. Good luck with the kids :)

Ask them what they like to do after school or if they have any pets to tell you about them. Ask them to tell you about their brothers and sisters.
