What questions should I ask myself when debating changing schools?

I am entering the eighth grade next year, I go to a private Catholic school. There is an Episcopal school which would secure my high school education. It has better opportunities for me, but I will miss my friends and teachers. What are the key questions to ask myself when in this situation?
 
is this the right option for me?will i be better off if i go?you will get new teachers and friends. yes you will miss them but you will eventually seperate from your friends when you leave school and go off to work or move
 
Which one is going to give you the best education?Which has the most opportunities for you as a student?What % of students typically receive their diploma at graduation?What kind of colleges do these students attend?Don't worry so much about friends and your social life. You can make new friends and keep in touch with the old ones via myspace/facebook. Pick the one that is best for yourself only.
