My mother is in a LTACH right now and I know the cold and flu season is around. Is there any protocols for nurses and doctors concerning what to do if they catch an illness themselves, or have family members that are sick? In other words, if a nurse/doctor is coming down with a cold/flu, are they required not to come into work?
