What program to use to write HTML easier ?

Hey guys, when i write html in NOTEPAD it is hard to find my way around because all the text is black. You know when you look at any sites Source code, it is all in different colours to make you understand better where is what.

Can someone suggest a simple program where you write html code and the tags for example are a different color than the rest of the text. It would make life a lot easier. Thanks
