What price could one expect from a junk yard for a 1982 Buick?

Roughly how much could one expect to get from a junk yard for a 1982 Buick? The car is in ok shape but has a blown engine which will cost more to repair than the car is worth. A friend believes he may receive up to $800 for the car while I'm more inclined to think something along the lines of $300. Who is closer?
