What position would suite me best for my MAIN position in baseball?
I play LF, 1B, SS, 3B, and pitch a little and what position would i be better at:
12 y/o
5' 3"
113 pounds

we don't really test speed but my last mile run was a 7 min, 53 seconds

I am just wondering for future tryouts (My town usually asks in tryouts what position i would like to play, i fell fine w/ any of the ones i listed)

Thanks

This may help:
Errors in LF: 3
Errors at SS; 2
Errors at 1B: 0
errors at 3B: 0 or 1, can't remember

and this may help- 7 HR in spring league and summer league (around 45 games total)

Dude your 12. Play what ever you have most fun playing. Your body is still growing, and nobody cares about positions based on your physical attributes until high school.

I would say SS because you aren't very tall or big and from what I can tell, you are fast (although a mile run tests cardiovascular endurance not speed). But if you play that and feel it doesn't suit you, feel free to change it around until you find where you play best.

Tell them all those positions. The more position you can play the more important you are to the team. I know you said you feel fine with all those positions. What position do you like the best?

As far as your speed goes keep running doing some weight lifting, batting cages. You will do fine. Have fun.

If your 12 you should continue to play as many positions as possible. Some players are really big at your age but are done growing, and others are smaller, but will be bigger in High School.
Trust me, I am playing in HS now and the best thing to do is have proper throwing mechanics and learn to play anywhere because if you are versatile you will always make any team.

SS or 3B. You have speed for a 12y/o and aren't really tall, so those two would be good. Also, you have fewer errors at those possitions and are too good for 1st base (thats for slower guys...no offense Giambi)
