Hi, I've planted a bed of orange kangaroo paws. I love them but now it is looking way too native and doesn't really suit the other 3 gardens near it.
In the other gardens we have a lush green hedge (2m tall) and mondo grass. and the other garden we have some flowering peach trees with pretty pink blossoms.
Any suggestions on something green we can plant amoungst the kangaroo paws to make it less native and tie in to more of an english cottage type garden. i was thinking maybe lavender but it may be too mcuh colour so maybe gardenias? or just some green glossy grasses?
I also want to plant something under/behind the peach trees as kind of a 50cm - 1m headge. any suggestions on that? was thinking gardenia for that.
all are in full sun for at least half the day.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
