Hey all! First off, this is my first post here and I wanna say you guys have a great community going! And if I made this post in the wrong area then I apologize for that.
Here's the deal. I live in Holland (Europe) and I want to get myself a phone that supports AIM, MSN and Yahoo to stay in touch with friends and family on my trips. I also want to be able to use these services no matter what provider I'm on or whatever geological location I'm at. I don't know which one is best because there are some criteria I'm not sure of yet. So, here are my questions:
1. I know I need a quad band phone to use it all around the globe. So, my question is, are there quad band phones out there that can support AIM, MSN and Yahoo?
2. I think not all providers support AIM, MSN and Yahoo. Right now my provider is Vodafone. I'm not sure if Vodafone Live supports AIM, MSN and Yahoo. Does anybody know? I know T-Mobile offers packages that include these services, but will it work outside Holland? So, what provider should I get, bearing in mind AIM, MSN and Yahoo will still work even when I'm not covered by my own provider?
I hope this all makes sense. I tried to be as detailed as possible, but I'm not really into technical stuff, so all help is greatly appreciated...
