Okay, so at first i was going to get a blackberry but to get a 3yr contract you have to be on a data plan and that is a lot of money monthly.
So, i am going to get this phone:

On the pay as you go plan, which is $25 a month, with unlimited texting and calling from 3-6.
Now my question is, in Febuary i am getting my friends Blackberry Pearl because they are getting a new phone. So i was wondering can i just switch the sim card from the samsung phone to the blackberry and keep the plan i have? Or will i have to switch to a data plan, even though i dont need or want the internet? What are my options if i get the samsung hype for a couple of months then switch to the blackberry Pearl. All i need is unlimted texting every month, and some minutes for calling.
