What phone shoud I get. 3g with or edge t-mobile

Hi,

I'm trying to decide between a k790i or k800. I've read t-mobile may come out with 3g this coming year, but who knows. I'm not a phone whore and don't plan on buying another phone untill either the k790 or k800 breaks down. Should I buy the k800 and wait for 3g to come, or just go with the k790?

I've used edge before and it's alright for me, but 3g would be nice, but then i hear t-mobile's umts will probably be slow like around 2.something. I have a data plan and i'm always on the internet on my phone or downloading data.

Or should I just switch to cingular and buy a k800? 3g from cingular is already available in my area.
 
1. The K800i will not work with Cingular or Tmobiles 3g network.
2. Tmobile announced they are using HSDPA, so I highly doubt it will be slow.
3. If you want 3g, you'll have to stick with buying a phone from Cingular or waiting for Tmobile and buying a phone from them. The other option is to go with Verizon or Sprint.
