What phone is better? Samsung Epic or Nexus S?

Christmas is almost here ( WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ^____^ ) lmao ; anyway i want a new phone for christmas compared to my crappy LG Rumor Touch. I've been reading alot about these 2 phones but both seem to be neck to neck so help me out. I'm a teen so texting is mainly why we use phones to be honest. At first I thought Epic would be a perfect match for me because the the QWERTY keyboard and the ability to use Swype, and text virtually but on the other hand, Nexus S is upgraded with Gingerbread, sleeker, and just up to date. But with my personal issues - as a 13 yr old teen, everyone wants that cool phone haha. First of all with my LG i always vowed not to drop my phone but I always did and Epic has a stronger back compared to Nexus plastic back but I want better tech. I reallly don't want to buy something knowing it's not all that good. Also been hearing Epic has bugs and unresponsive problems. So Yahoo ... help me out here, is Samsung epically awesome or did Nexus S bomb that epic? <----- Hahaha i like how i just wrote that.! =^.^=
 
I'd go with Samsung, they are (for the most part..) reliable. I prefer the virtual screen, I used to use the full QWERTY keyboard and thought I wouldn't like the Virtual screen. But I love it with SWYPE. ALL Android phones freeze and restart, that's just how it is. (Damn you Google..) By the way.. You sound like a typical Teenager. Good luck.
