Does anyone know what percetage of the Jewish people who were put in concetration camps survived? If possible, could anyone provide a reference, for instance a book, encyclopedia, newspaper article?
I do not know but it was very very small. Take Auschwitz, two million went it, a few thousand lived to liberation. Many of these survivors died in the weeks and months after liberation due to disease etc.
"The Holocaust Industry" by the Jewish academic Norman G. Finkelstein is a good reference. He questions the ratio of concentration camps victims to the number of survivors who are, to this day, claiming reparation, land, works of art and so on. It makes an extremely interesting reading.
