...farm subsidies? most everyone thinks the farm bill is strictly for farmers. they do not know that food stamps makes up the majority of the farm bill. the bill that is currently moving thru congress has a 75 percent increase in food stamps and 2.5 percent reduction for actual farm payments. with prices for commodities at present rates, very little is being paid to farmers today.
