What people own a tank/s other than the military?

Anyone can own a tank.
You will probably need some special permits.
I saw a film once on this demolition company that used a tank to drive it through a house to bring the house down.
I don't think a tank would be much different than an airplane. There are privately owned military aircraft flying. I have seen a privately owned MIG 15 flown at an air show.
