I'M LOOKING FOR A SITE OR BOOK, THAT I CAN FIND WHAT YEARS AND MODELS A PART FITS FROM THE NUMBER ON THE INSIDE OF THE PART. PARTS 1981 TO PRESENT

1981 to 1985 is shovelhead pretty much interchangeable from model to model as far as sporty and bigtwin goes,after that evo stuff starts and then your twin cam starts in 2000 I think.Knuckle and panheads fit each other,shovel tops fit pan bottoms. Check out books from paisano publications like custom chopper cookbook.
 
only the tire valve caps are for certain.
Harley makes about 40 different bikes.
