My friend has a cockatoo and a fell in love with it. I have owned many pets in the past, fish, dogs, cats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, llamas, and horses. Right now I just have a dog, and she gets along with everything so I don't have to worry about her attacking or bothering the bird. Since, I am a newbie at owning birds, I don't want to get anything I can't handle. I want something that is interactive, yet inexpensive. I was also wondering where would be the best place to put the birds cage. Also, if it is best to get two that is no issue.
