(without the bar in the middle.)

is that a good size for a betta?

ok so what type of fish wouldnt be a bad choice?
I DONT WANT ONE ATTACKING THE OTHER!

and also if you want best answer, what are some good plants and stuff to put into the bowl?
something my betta would like..

ok a very good choice cuz ive had them, would be neon guppies (with small short tails.)
bad choice: another betta, or a fantail. fantails are so pretty but big tails is what intimidates the betta.

that is not a suitable for any fish to live in. not even a betta. so to answer your question, none. sorry to upset, i know these things seem appealing to the amature aquariast or someone who doesn't know anything about fish but that is basically not fit for anything to live in. fish need space to move around and filtration and heat to live. the minimum for betta survival is a filtered and heated 2.5gallon tank, that divided tank looks to be about half a gallon, if that.

No other fish can live in a bowl without a filter except a betta. A bamboo plant would be a good plant to put in the bowl because they don't need lots of light like other aquarium plants.

Bettas are carnivorous fish, so really if you don't want your Betta to chse the other fish all the time I wouldn't put any others in there. You could googling Betta tank mates. When I had my Bettas they didn't attack my algae eaters (Otocinclus) but I didn't have the courage to add anything that moved more.

I think Gouramis are acceptable. Anything not to flashy, with small fins would be worth a shot.

i dont think anything but 1 or 2 guppys could squeeze in there with a betta!
