I recently acquired these speakers from my friend but I am not sure the best way to set them up. I do not know if I need to buy anything else to improve the use of the speakers.

they are going in my room. its about 15 feet x 15 feet. ceiling height is a standard bedroom height. there is no attic or crawl space around. It is just the pair of speakers. I am looking for a sub-woofer but that wont be in the near future because i need to save up some money. I would like to be able to play music off my laptop and hook it up for HDMI cables.
