What other brand of bike beside BMX?

I wanna buy a bike for my daily use to my college.

The thing is, I want a bike that is similar to BMX.
Can you guys name other brand beside BMX? The one that they use in x-games or anything
 
the bike style that i think you are describing is a DJ(dirt jumper). i have friends that own norco and specialized DJ's but my favourite has always been specialized. these bikes are good for tricks and transportation so it should be a good choice. hope this helps.
