I am currently living near UCSD / La Jolla Area and will be attending San Diego State next year. I am unfamiliar with all of the different neighborhoods in San Diego and was wondering if anyone knew of some nicer areas near San Diego State that would be "safe" for 2 girls to live in alone. Any help is much appreciated! Currently I know that Serra Mesa, Kensington, La Mesa, Del Cerro, Grantville, Adam's North, Mission Valley, Fashion Valley are close by....but I have NO IDEA if they are safe cities to live in. HELP! Thanks
