My pattern calls for a yarn with a wpi of 9 and knitting needle size US9. The yarn I want to use have 6wpi. It's a blanket so it's alright if it turns out a little bigger but I want to use the right size needles so I don't have really loose stitches or overly tight ones. Is there some website that offers needle size conversions based on the yarn?
What needle size should I use if I'm using yarn with a wpi of 6 instead of 9?
